This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is between Gardens by the Bay and you as user of our websites and services.

Gardens by the Bay is the owner of https: //www.gardensbythebay.com.sg and all its subdomains and subpages (“the Website”).

By logging in and accessing the Website and using the Services, you represent that you are at least eighteen (18) years old and you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions of this Policy and the Terms of Use at https://www.gardensbythebay.com.sg/en/terms-of-use.html as amended from time to time.

Introduction and Scope of this Policy

We respect your individual privacy and treat your Personal Data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

Personal Data” refers to personally identifiable information about you including your name, phone number, email address and contact details, and other personal information incidental to your interaction with the use of the services offered by Gardens by the Bay.

This Policy applies to all Personal Data processed by Gardens by the Bay through its websites, domains, applications (Apps) or other platforms (collectively “Platforms"), which include but are not limited to the following:

Depending on the nature of your interaction with us, we may collect personal data from you which may include your name, residential address, email address and telephone number or from personal data in the possession of organisations which we may have engaged to collect, use disclose or process personal data for our purposes.

  • through your activity on or through the Website (including without limitation your input of job search terms or skills on the Website, through the feedback survey or through the usage pattern on the Website) and site you exit to (automatically collected); and

Retention, Use and Storage of Data by Gardens by the Bay

We require the Personal Data that is collected to provide you with the best possible service and experience when using our Services and the Website. The collected Personal Data may be used by us for the following purposes:

  • to enable us to contact you;
  • to improve the content and quality of our Services; and

You acknowledge and agree that Gardens by the Bay shall not be held responsible or accountable for any loss, injury or damage sustained by you for sharing the aforesaid information arising out of your activation or use of such features on the Website.


Consequence of Withdrawing Consent to the Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Data

You may refuse or withdraw your consent from us to collect, use or disclose your personal data by giving us reasonable notice. It is important to note that in the event you do withdraw consent, we will be unable to collect, use, or disclose your Personal Data meaning that you will no longer be able to rely on Gardens by the Bay for support or for use of our Services.


Access and Correction Rights

You can gain access to the Personal Data you have provided by visiting the Website. To do so, login to your account, go to your resume or profile, and make the desired changes. Upon request Gardens by the Bay will provide you with access to information we hold about you. You may access, update, or delete your resume or profile at any time. You also have the right to request correction to your Personal Data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.


Anonymous Statistics

We may anonymise your Personal Data for the purposes of internal statistics (“Statistical Reports”) to help us improve our Services. We may in turn pass these Reports onto third parties.


Marketing Communications

If you should consent, from time to time you may receive from us a variety of communications, including but not limited to newsletters, emails and text messages (the “Marketing Communications”), that will include service updates,  and offers related to our Services which we believe you may be interested in.

At any time, you may change your Marketing Communications preferences, either by:

  • electing to opt out from the Marketing Communications sent to you by following the ‘unsubscribe’ link which can be found at the bottom of the emails; or

Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by and construed according to the laws of Singapore and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts.
